If you are thinking about further study in the fields of business, commerce, accounting or finance, Macquarie University's Postgraduate Expo provides the perfect opportunity to have all your questions answered.

To be held on Tuesday 11 April from 3pm till 7pm, the Postgraduate Expo will feature experts from across the University including those involved in the Master of Applied Finance, Master of Commerce and the Master of International Business.

Whether you are considering postgraduate study by coursework (Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Masters) or research (Masters, Masters Honours or PhD) in the near future or further down the track, the expo provides the opportunity to explore your interests, clarify your options and make plans.

Postgraduate Research

Macquarie is one of the country's leading innovative research universities. It consistently ranks in the top 10 Australian universities for Australian Research Council Discovery Grants awarded to its staff, Federation Fellowships and the establishment of major national research centres. These significant successes contribute to Macquarie University's research strengths and provide additional opportunities for postgraduate research in a range of interesting fields.

Academic Advice

At the Postgraduate Expo you can get study advice from academic experts in courtyard booths set up in Building E7B. Academics from areas such as Applied Finance, Graduate Accounting and Commerce as well as the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) will be on hand to answer your questions.

Master of Applied Finance information session

Macquarie University offers the world's largest Master of Applied Finance program with study even available in the Sydney CBD.

Elizabeth Roberts, associate director of Banking and Finance at recruitment firm Michael Page International, recently said in a Sydney Morning Herald article, that to accelerate your career in the banking and finance sector, you should undertake Macquarie University's Master of Applied Finance.

An information session will be held in Building E7B, Room 263 from 6.30pm for those interested in funds management, corporate finance, financial risk management and treasury, or for those looking to start a career in the finance sector.

Masters at Manly information session

You can find out all about Masters subjects on offer via an innovative partnership between the University and the International College of Management, Sydney, at an information session to be held in Building E7B, Theatre 100 from 5pm.

You can choose to study Macquarie University's Master of Commerce or Master of International Business program at either the North Ryde campus or by Manly beach at the International College of Management, Sydney. In addition to core units, you can choose from a range of elective subjects in strategic management, marketing, human resource management, and tourism and hospitality.

Other Expo Events

Prospective students are invited to join academic staff and current postgraduate students for a drink and an informal chat at the other Expo events located around Building E7B.

Free Parking

At the Postgraduate Expo, parking is free on campus from 2pm.
