With the largest postgraduate finance program in the world, the Macquarie University Applied Finance Centre is well qualified to offer high quality short courses to the business community.
The recent installation of the world's first brain imaging system for children at the University means that researchers at the Macquarie Centre for Cognitive Science (MACCS) are now able to conduct cutting edge studies in cognitive processing across all ages.
Opportunities abound for research students in the Wireless Communication Concentration of Research Excellence (CORE) at Macquarie University with two new research areas opening up in 2009 and around 20 postgraduate positions available across the Centre.
As of 1 January 2009, Macquarie University has now a new academic structure.
Instead of being organised into nine Divisions, Macquarie University now have four Faculties - Arts, Human Sciences, Business and Economics, and Science.
Existing degree programs for 2009 have been organised into these Faculties, so the restructure would not affect students' study choices for this year.
